Rstestlabs has been shooting portraits, headshots and small business work out of 128 West Cordova Street since the studio opened its doors in 2019. The space sits two blocks from Waterfront Station, so clients coming from North Vancouver or Burnaby can step off the SeaBus and walk over in under five minutes.
Bookings run seven days a week between 10:00 and 20:00.
A standard headshot session takes 45 minutes. You get a clean backdrop, two lighting setups and a quiet room to change in. Most people who work in Gastown or the Financial District book a slot before their lunch break and are back at their desk by 13:00.
Product shots for Etsy sellers, menu photos for restaurants on Hastings, and team portraits for offices around Coal Harbour. We schedule these on weekdays and keep the setup compact enough to shoot a 20-item catalogue in one sitting.
Birthday dinners, engagement parties and small corporate receptions. The studio covers events within the City of Vancouver and will travel to venues in Yaletown, Kitsilano or Mount Pleasant by arrangement. Travel outside the city is quoted separately.
We are a two-person studio, not a large agency. The person who answers the phone is often the same person who sets up the lights. That means fewer layers between your first email and the day of the shoot, and it means questions get answered the same day.
The space at 128 West Cordova Street has street-level access, which matters for anyone hauling in a garment rack or a box of products. There is a load zone on Cordova for drop-offs, and the studio is a four-minute walk from the Waterfront Expo Line platform.
